1. Otwórz Menedżera zadań

5. Repair or reinstall

Finally, if you have no other solution, try using the restore feature . You can access it by opening Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> find Microsoft Office and select Change from the top menu.

6. Install Windows Updates

Microsoft regularly releases updates for Microsoft Office (and other internal features and programs) through Windows Update.

So, if your current version of Office is broken in any way, chances are that a new update will fix it. And it doesn’t have to be an Office update.

It is possible that some other features installed on your computer are interfering with Office, preventing you from accessing it. In both cases, installing the latest updates may resolve the issue.

To install the latest updates on your computer, simply go to Settings > Update & Security and check for updates.

7. Remove Windows Updates

• Go to settings.
• Now go to Updates & Security > Windows Update.
• Go to Update history > Uninstall updates.
• Now locate the latest Office update installed on your computer (you can sort the updates by date), right-click on it and select Uninstall.
• Restart your computer.

Now let’s do the exact opposite of the previous solution. If the problem started showing up after you updated your Office suite, you can easily uninstall the latest updates and see if that solves your problem.

8. Disable add-ons

• Open the problematic application.
• Choose File > Options .
• Click “Add-ons” and then disable all add-ons.
• Restart the program and run it without any add-ons enabled.

Sometimes corrupted add-ins can block the opening of any Word/Excel/PowerPoint document.
